A special events space,
six large screens, a video art,
art.espionage members and 100 brides,
In the tradition of the second action, “here comes a bride #3” was comprised of six bridal stations in a circular arrangement which were projected onto six large screens located in varied positions in space, but this time the mechanism created an assembly-line with the participation of 100 brides.In this performance, art.espionage members evolved into part of the stations’ mechanisms, as an interviewer, a presenter, a doctor, a photographer, a training coach and a psychologist. Each of the 100 brides was asked to walk along a path of tests, physical and mental, aiming to check whether she is made out of bridal material.
The first station combined a videoart in which six black art.espionage figures were constantly revealed as brides. Each black figure walks one step ahead; as the bride takes her next step, a new bride appears, taking her first step into the path of tests.
The viewers were located in the middle of the events watching the twelve bridal stations and the 100 real brides at the same time.
The performance created intensive space by using multiplicity, reflections and singularity as concepts, again, breaking down the physical measurements in to a blur of actions.
